President Mrs. Barbara Johnson:
|
| |
I have been president at the Farm Women's Market for approximately 20 years. (Time flies!). I also have a stand, where I sell vegetable, fruits, and baked goods. My cookies have been all around the region, as I have been working at the market for about 45 years. I also work in the office on certain days doing different things. As president, whenever anything comes up, I am there to talk it over and straighten everything out amongst the directors and myself. After the meeting, the directors will vote on the subject, I do not vote. My experience at the market has been phenomenal!

Mrs. Marilyn Rooze
|
| |
I have been a member of the Cooperative for 40 years and a member of the Board of Directors for 25 years. I was 25 years when I started selling flowers and potted plants. There was only one seller that sold geraniums & potted chrysanthemums at that time. My former husband and I introduced herbs, perennials & dried flowers to the market. Later I started selling commercial flowers . As a Board Member I play a part in the decision making process of how the market is run. It gives me a great deal of pleasure to be an important part of The Montgomery Farm Woman's Cooperative Market.
